“Not Only One Box” - A Psytrance Story

A year after its conception beneath the golden sun of Hungary’s iconic S.U.N. Festival, a new documentary is preparing to lift the veil on one of psytrance’s most closely-knit communities.

“Not Only One Box”, directed by Arianna Tedesco and produced by The Quasars, offers a rare behind-the-scenes look into the ethos, energy, and emotional fabric of the global psychedelic trance movement.

The film presents a contemplative yet celebratory portrait of artists who challenge norms, transcend borders, and speak through frequencies. Featuring intimate conversations and live moments with Boom Shankar, Luminous, The Trancemancer, ArgonSphere, Muatoy, and others, the documentary invites viewers into a world that resists being defined by genre, geography, or expectation.

Providing the soundtrack for this year`s final sunset at the after party of Transition Festival. Achieving this kind of unity, harmony, euphoria, and energy is something special these days, and I am grateful to the promoters, dancers, and beings responsible for this shared experience.

Eye-to-eye, heart-to-heart - creating a set not as a monologue but as a constantly evolving dialogue is what I consider the essence of what Psychedelic Trance and an authentic trance dance experience stand for.

Highlighting a decade-long production journey, Triceradrops unveils "Becoming" - an 8-track sonic voyage through time, loss, love, and transformation. The album acts as a tribute to those who have paved the US producer`s life and provided inspiration - the dreamers, the lost souls, the strangers who left their mark.

At once haunting and evocative, it forms a brooding journey through facets of Psychedelic Trance - from the twisted Prog-tinged Psy Tech "Out of Stock", a collaboration with Sidekicks, to the squelching nighttime vibes of "At Loss"; and finally to the genre the US producer has uniquely forged and pushed for over a decade...psychedelic industrial. This comes to life through the metal-guitar-laden "Feral Metamorphosis" and the album`s culmination, the face-meltingly brutal "Recreational Damage".
