Plasmatix Biography

Marios "Plasmatix" Trivyzas was born in Athens in 1975 and began his musical journey in the mid-1980s as a bass player in the Greek punk band Vicious Circle. Early influences from punk and 60s psychedelia soon gave way to a deeper connection with electronic music after a transformative trip to Goa in 1992. Since then, he has been an active force in the global Psytrance scene as a DJ, producer, and event organizer.

He played a key role in shaping the Greek Psytrance movement, organizing landmark events like Marakame, Bluebuzz, and the iconic Samothraki Dance Festival. His international performances span Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia, known for delivering powerful Full-On Psytrance, Retro, and PsyTech sets tailored for both night and day.

As a producer, he worked under aliases such as L-Foids, Ozma, and Lamat, and later founded Octava Records to bring the spirit of Samothraki to a wider audience. In recent years, he launched the Ekholab Studio Project, a creative hub for music production and audiovisual innovation, where new projects like Makar, Plasmatix, and 0101 were born.

In 2019, Plasmatix released his first track with BMSS Records, alongside the legendary Total Eclipse, which he officially joined the same year. In 2024, Total Eclipse became part of the BMSS roster, and in 2025, Plasmatix joined the label officially, representing BMSS Records in Greece and beyond, continuing his mission to elevate psychedelic music worldwide.
