Muatoy Biography

Jukka`s passion for creating something unique has been evident since his childhood. He discovered a way to express himself and manifest his creativity through music, and eventually he began as an enthusiastic sound manipulator and music producer. Psychedelic music entered his life in the summer of 2002, when he followed the sounds in the deep Finnish forests.

Jukka`s first gig was in 2004 as part of the Suomisaundi project Oikeusjyvä, which evolved over a decade later into different styles of projects such as Frosty Fennic, which you might know from more experimental forest-influenced sounds, and Inverse Out, which was a burst of a brighter psychedelic perception. He gathered inspiration, which resulted in his most recent project, Muatoy.
