Mind Lab Biography

Fotis Elf`s love affair with electronic beats ignited during his youth, spinning tunes as a budding DJ in Athens`s vibrant club scene.

However, it was the fateful year of 1995 that marked his cosmic collision with Psytrance: captivated by its new sounds, mesmerizing decor, and the vibe of the people. From that moment and on, Psychedelic Trance became the gravitational center of his musical universe, an unshakeable force shaping his creative journey.

Since the early 2000s, Fotis immersed himself in creating his own music, eventually launching his project Alchemix in 2008. His sonic voyages have spanned across global festivals and events, leaving an indelible mark with three albums and countless tracks featured across diverse compilations and renowned labels.

Now, he introduces his latest expedition, Mind Lab - a sonic laboratory meticulously crafting serious Psychedelic Trance that beckons the mind to new realms. Evolving from his debut EP, "Inner Engineering," dropped in 2016 under BMSS Records, Fotis` current sonic evolution orbits around trippy, higher BPM Psytrance, igniting dance floors with the pulsating energy of his most recent live performances.
