We conclude the reconstruction of our BMSS Records artist roster for 2024 with the signing of an up-and-coming talent from Poland: Main Ape

Kuba already released two tracks with us, both featured on Boom Shankars` Ailihphilia VA in 2022, and ever since he has been on our radar as his signature style, overall production level and vibe was in perfect harmony with our narrative and approach. Two years later, we are finally welcoming him to our realms and are already looking forward to revealing his sonic expressions on our label.

Out now on BMSS Records: Argon Sphere - Cosmic Echoes EP

Argon Sphere`s new EP "Cosmic Echoes" comes at us like a veritable sonic reverberation from outer space. In the solo title track, driving daytime beats fuse with razor-sharp FM textures to propel the track forward in a consciousness-warping psychotropic frenzy, whilst the Serbian producer`s trademark soaring melodies bring a subtle but captivating ethereal atmosphere to the production.

Argon`s Sphere`s classic track "Midnight Senses" has then been given a fresh take by fellow BMSS-er Mind Lab. The result is a heads-down no-nonsense blaster that will uplift the most discerning trancefloor with its sense-boggling grooves, mind-bending pads and alien-speech-like synth textures.

Prepare yourself for a psychedelic transmission from the outer reaches of our galaxy!

Part of sustainability is that we can`t lose financially on the event, otherwise we wouldn`t be able to organize it every summer. Without paid advertising, we cannot reach all the people, but that is not the goal either. However, you can help us attract like-minded and good-vibrational peers within the psychedelic community.

☀ Roadside installations:

From the ideas submitted for the tender, we have selected 5 winners and are excited to start the implementation period. The projects include a living willow structure, a stone labyrinth, a geodome and a relaxation area made from pallet furniture.

☀ Musical talent search:

The judging period is now coming to an end, but it`s not easy because this year even more artist applied (over 100!), and many of them are real talents. The results will be announced at the end of next week.

☀ Sustainability and environmental protection:

We want SUN to be a completely waste-free and sustainable festival, which is why we are launching or restarting several green projects this year. There will be a festival package again (handmade biodegradable soap, water bottle, canvas bag, etc.), new selective bins are being made, and we want to completely eliminate the use of plastics. Your cooperation is important, because only together we can preserve the natural treasures of Csobánkapuszta.

☀ Volunteering

We are looking for helpers not only for SUN, but also for the period before that. We can offer festival tickets and food in return. If you have a friend who would like to come, but their financial situation does not allow it, or even if you would like to help with one of the projects currently underway, please fill in the volunteer form at this link here.

We are very happy welcoming Special Kay to our label. Karen is one of the most dedicated and passionate Djanes from South Africa and an old friend of the label.

We love her holistic approach to Psychedelic Trance which is featuring more of the slower BPM kind, wrapped in melodic and positive soundscapes with the intention to lift any dancefloor to new heights. Her stage presence is a reflection of this: good vibes and a huge smile. The perfect fit!

BMSS Records Artist Roster 2024: Total Eclipse

New addition to our label family: Chapter 9

TOTAL ECLIPSE (Live Act | France & Greece) 🇫🇷 🇬🇷

It`s quite surreal but a huge privilege for us having Total Eclipse now as a part of our label. We grew up to their music roughly 30 years ago as they were one of the pioneers of Goa Trance back in the 90s. Their music shaped our scene and through the ages they managed to stay true to their sound without selling out - something very rare nowadays and a reason why we wanted to work with each other, as our philosophy of #keepingitholistic perfectly resonates with their approach to Psychedelic Trance.

In 2018, we already had them featured on "Return to the Source", Boom Shankars 20 years anniversary compilation, followed by a stunning EP release under the 0101 umbrella. Now in 2024 we are looking forward to channeling their sonic output through our BMSS network.

New addition to our label family: Chapter 8

HEIMYA (Live Band | France) 🇫🇷

The Trance side of Heimya represents the alternate facet of the electro-acoustic project stemming from the collaboration between Sebastien Bosc, also known as the producer Gnaia, Fabio Nahele, the talented multi-instrumentalist from the Matibhrama group and the enchanting voice of singer Bellule.

The musical alchemy between these three artists gives rise to a unique sonic experience, skillfully merging their Trance electronic productions with Arab-Andalusian, Latin, rock, and tribal influences.

The result is an auditory kaleidoscope, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary influences, showcasing a variety of instruments (acoustic and electric guitar, saz, vocals, synthesizers) played live.

By merging Psychedelic Trance with instrumental compositions, Heimya invites the audience to dance while harmonizing energy and melodic sensitivity. The trio explores the boundaries of genres, creating a unique audio journey that exceeds expectations through the diversity of musical influences, providing a captivating and emotional musical trip.

BMSS Records Artist Roster 2024: Frosty Fennic

New addition to our label family: Chapter 7

FROSTY FENNIC (Live Act | Finland) 🇫🇮

The realm of Frosty Fennic is a musical exploration crafted by Jukka Surakka`s creative mastery. This project captures the essence of Nordic culture by combining Suomisound, Forest, Dark, and even industrial elements into a truly unique sonic experience while maintaining the essence of Psychedelic Trance music.

The name "Frosty Fennic" honors the Finnish people`s resilience and adaptability, reflecting their affinity for the pristine landscapes and frozen beauty of the North. Jukka incorporates this cultural spirit into his compositions, resulting in tracks that transport listeners to the heart of Nordic craziness.

Frosty Fennic has released on labels such as Samaa, Sangoma, Digital Shamans, Forestdelic, and Z-Plane Records, to name a few, and is now proudly contributing to the BMSS Records artist repertoire. You might notice echoes of his other project, Muatoy, which has already cemented its place in the BMSS Records family.

We are very happy having him on board with his second project, contributing to the Moon side of BMSS. Welcome again, Jukka! ❤️
