Antaro Biography
Starting in the days of acid house and new beat, in the late `80’s, DJ Antaro brought about and witnessed the introduction of electronic dance music. His international career as a DJ, continued throughout the years to come.Antaro has been playing gigs all over the world since then. He remains one of the handful of active artists, who are an integral part of the electronic dance music movement. Recognized for his pioneering efforts to establish underground music in Europe, DJ Antaro organized the very first events in his home country Germany, in 1990. The most significant event being the “VooV Experience” open air, which attracts over 10,000 visitors a year.
The success of this event catalyzed the formation of mainland Europe’s first independent trance record label, “Spirit Zone Recordings”, in `94. After a few years break, Antaro has returned to his roots, playing sorts of electronic music - from psychedelic techno to psychedelic trance and representing BMSS Records in Thailand and Germany.
